SERIOUSLY! LIKE WHAT THE FUCK. IT'S A BRAND NEW CAR WITH NOT EVEN 650 MILES ON IT. SON OF A BITCH! Maybe if they at least left a note saying sorry it would've been better, but still! I even park at back of the lot far away from all of the jdm/beater/Honda drivers to avoid such things like this happening. DO PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF THINGS, SERIOUSLY! It's too small of a dent to make a claim for, and by the time I got there, the person was already long gone. I FUCKING HATE PEOPLE! I'm have mixed feelings of anger, and I want to lay down, curl up in the fetal position and cry. :'(

I am so PARANOID when I park. I will spend as long as it takes if I feel I am too close to someone's door, especially a driver door. My favorite, in a busy lot, is to park next to a car thats nose-in on my left and nose out on my right, chances are no doors will open near my door.

I'm too young to drink. I would work out which is what I normally do, but I have 3 A.P. classes, SAT's, and ACT's to worry about. I noticed it right away when I saw it when I got there. I swear, i'll say i'm a pretty safe driver(not the best), but I try my best not to cause accidents, But I now see why teens agers have such high insurance rates. I've almost gotten back into by others twice. Not even like into bumper, I mean like full on reverse t-bone backed into. Both time they got within about an inch of my car.

Shit I'm 23 and I learned crap when I was 17/18 that saved my life a few times. So yeah it sounds like an exaggeration, but little things matter. I always joke that the first thing you should do with a new super shiny car is nick it up a bit. Just to get past this point where you hate the universe.

A few months ago, I picked up a gorgeous mint Mini with some sweet wheels. Maybe the third day I had it I nicked one of the wheels parallel parking.

Honestly, after the first minute of realizing I jacked up my perfect thing, I was actually relieved. It's bound to happen.

That being said, anyone else fucking my shit up is pretty damn deflating.

It happens unfortunately and it simply lets you value things more. You're just a good guy, and people hate good guys. Why? Because they can't find shit against them, so they make it up. Think of it this way, if they seriously couldn't come up with something about you that is true, what does that say about you? Its a praise sir.

I feel you... First day of school some dick slammed his car door into my car and caused a huge chip on my door handle. It was deep and then he got pissed because his base model V6 camaro gift from mom and dad could have gotten damaged. My high school had assigned spaces, but ever since then I parked by these two enthusiasts I knew that drove an E36 and a really clean SRT-4. Luckily we were all at the farthest end of the lot. It sucked when it rained though lol.

Had my new car two or three days (can't pinpoint it exactly) before someone decided to write with something that could scratch the paint (not a key) all over my passenger door. Such phrases as "I LOVE" and "I <3 U" as well as various designs were carved in it. Luckily, most of it buffed out to the point where you cannot really see it unless you know it's there, but if I ever find out who it is, they are buying me a new door.

Lots of petrolheads (including me and others round here) will say just the same thing. The odd ding is just ordinary wear and tear. It has no effect on the value of the car, although it's obvious that some people are OCD enough that they're bothered by their car's marred perfection; to me, it's like complaining about your tyres getting dirty or some such.

Was there any security camera footage available or witness? Not sure about the U.S. but in the U.K. failure to stop at an accident or failure to leave details can be 6 months’ imprisonment / £5,000 fine / Discretionary disqualification, 5 -10 penalty points (12 and its an automatic driving ban. Now a ding though not serious in the whole scheme of things could still net the other driver 3 penalty points and a £60 fine not to mention he has to notify his insurance of any changes and they may cancel his policy/raise is excess for a claim or raise his premiums.

I hope its not too serious and can be panel beaten out or sucked out.

It's tiny, only about an 1.5-3 mm deep, but about a quarter wide. But it's right over the pillar so that makes it ALOT WORSE! It's not going to be easy getting that thing out. There are cameras, and the counselor said he's going to go over the video and look at it tonight. Hopefully we can identify whose car it is.

I've just let the anger build up and am hoping that I find out who it is so I can bitchslap the shit out of them if they don't pay for it.
